You are all invited to Art Saturday 2. May at 11:30 to try the graphic technique “monotype” with the artists Bekim Hasaj and Susanne Marins.
– A Monotype is a single print made by transferring paint or ink from a smooth surface to paper –
In this workshop, glass will be used as matrix, on which you can paint and experience this very expressive technique in a simple way.
So get ready to use brushes, colors and unleash the painter in you to create unique prints.
Tools’ list easily available in the shops :
– watercolor and normal sheets;
– pencils and brushes;
– acrylic or oil colors (the biggest difference is that with acrylic colors you have to be faster in execution);
– spray for water
– glass (you can easily find it as a component in the frames, but we recommend you to cover the edges of the glass plate with adhesive tape to avoid problems)
– the roller is the only tool that is difficult to find in a short time and therefore we have given you a convenient replacement: the candle!

Varmt välkomna till vårt ArtSaturday-evenemang som streamas live på Malaktas facebook-sida lördagen den 2 maj. Vi provar på den grafiska tekniken “monotypi” med artisterna Bekim Hasaj och Susanne Marins.
“ Monotypi är ett tryck som görs genom att överföra färg eller bläck från en slät yta till papper. ”
I denna workshop kommer glas att användas som form, på vilken du kan måla och uppleva denna mycket uttrycksfulla teknik på ett enkelt sätt.
Lista på vad du behöver och som lätt hittas i butiken:
– Vattenfärgs-ark
– Penslar och borstar
– Akryl- eller oljefärg ( den största skillnaden är att med akrylfärgen måste du måla ditt verk snabbare för att färgen inte ska torka in)
Sprayflaska med vatten
– Glas ( Du kan lätt hitta en bit glas i en fotoram. Vi rekommenderar att du tejpar kanterna för att inte skära dig)
– Rullaren är det enda verktyg som kan vara svårt att hitta men därför har vi ett annat fungerande förslag till dig: Ett ljus!!
